When trying to find an apartment, other than some of the interiors, the perception of green is what gets to me. There's an apartment complex I thought would be nice to live in, because the buildings looked interesting. I went by there, it's not too bad, although the leasing office seemed to have taken the weekend off. However, I had to look a second time to figure out if there were any trees. My mind continues to see a bleak, unappetizing brown and gray. Another complex, whose office I specifically remember being tan, nonetheless has a much more pleasant look in my mind's eye, as I remember there's something green there, a park or field.
Another place that Charlie likes as very green seems quite green in memory, but only as a vertical color, not a place I could hang out being green with. Oy.

Also, the parking lot can't look like crap, and I have to be able to run my wireless internet.
