Still buried.

Work is still killing me. The last week of April I was working 90-100% of capacity... and struggling because I had other things to do.

This week, I'm actively looking for things to toss, although I've only just flat bailed on one thing so far, and working at 130-150% capacity. Sore now.

And I feel just like that guy in the song: "I've been one poor correspondent, and I've been too too hard to find, but it doesn't mean you ain't been on my mind."

I'm trying to read some livejournal today, while I have the chance of a "thin" day (75-80% of expected) and write some things, just in case the next chance is long-time coming...

What of y'all that reads this and wants me to comment on your journal or just thinks we need catching up ([info]oldfolkieathome and [info]polychromatic22 yes, I got phone messages, I call you back), holla back here.

Where are you exactly these days? I'm likely hitting Atlanta in Sept. So I guess I better question might be, where do you expect to be in Sept?

Sleep typing

Having worked third shift at transcription, you really can do it in your sleep. The tricky part is waking up long enough to scan the document and catch errors before sending. This way, you kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The depressing thing is that my line count actually went UP when I did this... I'm just holding my subconscious mind back! Okay, I've said too much. :)

Candle instructions: DO NOT BURN from both ends at once

We can catch up when you have more time (ha ha). What I thought was pressing is now postponed until next week.

I will be at H&H this weekend (though playing volunteer skullery matron to the Maestra's head chef). How 'bout you? Or are you going to be working? All work and no play makes Scylla a basket case. Please play some and be gentle with self. Work is replaceable; Scylla is not.
